The Giesser family started to make hand knives already in 1777. This traditional family business evolved into the Alfred Giesser Messerfabrik GmbH, a high-tech company and world leader in the manufacture of premium blades for industrial cutting which remains to be open to new ways into the future.
Our mind, sharp as a razor, our openness for innovation, and our flexibility form the basis for the successful design and manufacture of industrial cutting blades. We are proud that our customers name us a star performer in any world wide benchmark.
But we do not just offer excellence in cutting blades. We also have a keen eye on the quality and efficiency of our products by providing consultancy on the optimal use of knives or by the professional finishing of our blades.
In doing all this we have not forgotten our roots: when it comes to flexible responding we trust in short and efficient administrative procedures and in the cooperation of our close-knit team of 60 employees, 90% of which are net producers.
